While the Alabama Crimson Tide put the finishing touches on the 2025 class not too long ago, head man Kalen DeBoer is now all-in on making sure he can make a splash for 2026. With that, he's prioritizing some big-name, 5-star talents across the country.
One player in particular who fans are quite interested in would no question be Brandon Arrington. Recently, Arrington released his list of Top 12 schools and it was no surprise to see Alabama on the list, as he's got high interest in a potential move to Tuscaloosa.
With that said, just how interested is the elite playmaker in the program? Earlier this week, On3's Steve Wiltfong said that he actually thinks Alabama is currently the team to beat in his recruitment. USC and Oregon were considered among the favorites early on, but things sure have changed:

Alabama landing 5-star Brandon Arrington would be massive for Kalen DeBoer
Throughout his recruitment, Arrington has picked up a total of 43 offers. Yup, it's safe to say just about every powerhouse program in the country wants this kid to make plays for them down the road. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's the No. 1 athlete in the country and No. 9 prospect nationally.
He has the ability to play both sides of the ball at the next level, but Alabama is recruiting him to suit up as a defensive back. DeBoer still has plenty of work to do to potentially land his cornerback target, but Arrington was blown away following a recent unofficial visit.
Per reports, he's already working on scheduling an official visit for the summer, but that date is yet to be finalized. DeBoer and his staff are making a big impact on Arrington. It's clear that Alabama will be a major player in Arrington's process until he eventually shuts things down.
