Alabama football vs. Florida State: how to watch, odds, injuries, more as Tide seeks revenge

Everything you need to know ahead of Alabama's Week 3 matchup against Florida State in Tuscaloosa.

Coaches, players, and fans alike have had this matchup circled on the calendar all offseason long. Alabama hosts Florida State this weekend in Tuscaloosa, looking to make a statement and avenge last season's embarrassing loss to the Seminoles in Tallahassee to open the 2025 season.

Alabama faced its first test of 2026 last week on the road against Kentucky. After some early blunders and a 17-13 halftime deficit, the Crimson Tide turned on the jets and raced past the Wildcats in the second half, outscoring them 32-0 on the way to a 45-17 win to earn an early conference victory.

Alabama used a dominant defense and a resurgent running game to roll over Kentucky last week. This week against Florida State, Kalen DeBoer hopes his team can put it all together and play a full 60-minute game.

Mike Norvell desperately needs a marquee win to save his job, but it might all be too little too late for the one-time Tide coaching candidate. DeBoer and his team could drive the final nail in the coffin of his tenure with the 'Noles.

Who are the announcers for Alabama vs. Florida State?

No changes for Alabama this week. Same broadcast window, same time, same network, and same crew. It'll be Sean McDonough (Play-by-Play), former Tide QB Greg McElroy (Analyst), and Katie George (Sideline Reporter) for the Tide and the Seminoles.

What will the weather be like for Alabama football on Saturday?

Stop me if you've heard this one before: it's going to be hot. HOT. Will we ever get relief from this heat? People are asking. Current temp projections call for a high of 95 with a real feel of 107. There is a chance of some spotty thunderstorms, so that's something to watch for, as it could cause a game delay.
