One of Alabama's biggest targets in the 2027 recruiting class is 5-star WR Monshun Sales, the No. 2 receiver and a Top 10 overall recruit in his class, per the 247 composite.
Sales plays high school football in Indianapolis, but is originally from Alabama and a lifelong fan of the Crimson Tide, giving Kalen DeBoer a significant leg up in the recruiting process. Sales even carries the nickname "Bama."
It would be criminal for the blue-chip WR to end up anywhere else for college, but Alabama is in for a fight down the stretch.
Sales announced a trimmmed down list of four schools on Wednesday. As expected, Alabama made the cut. But the other three programs are going to do whatever they can to try and steal the 5-star away from the Tide.
Along with Alabama, Indiana, Ohio State, and Miami (FL) made the cut:

Alabama in the final four for 5-star WR Monshun Sales
Alabama has been viewed as the favorite for Sales from the get-go in his recruitment, thanks to his ties to the program. But the other three in his final group are going to go all-in to try and land the 6-foot-5 WR with game-breaking speed.
Indiana has long looked to be the biggest threat, considering how close the program is to where he currently lives. The Hoosiers are no longer a joke in the football world after dominating Alabama in the Rose Bowl en route to the program's first National Championship. They are a real threat.
So is Ohio State, even after losing WR coach Brian Hartline, who left Columbus to take the head coaching job at USF. The Buckeyes' recent history of WR development gives them a significant leg up on all other competition.
Miami looks like the wildcard, but the Hurricanes just played in the National Championship game and continue to trend upward under Mario Cristobal.
Sales recently visited Alabama for Junior Day, and DeBoer and company will undoubtedly be looking to get him back on campus this summer as they put on the full-court press for a must-have prospect in the 2027 class.
