When the dust settles for the 2027 recruiting class, Thompson's Trent Seaborn might not even be the highest-ranked quarterback Alabama signs. The Crimson Tide is in the mix for 5-star Baton Rouge native Elijah Haven, and has been viewed as the leader in his recruitment for several months now.
But nobody in the 2027 class bleeds crimson quite like Seaborn. He's as locked in as it gets with Alabama, and despite other programs pushing to try and get Seaborn to visit and flip, he's not taking the bait.
"There’s no reason to schedule other OVs when I’m staying back and recruiting every weekend and every chance that I get," Seaborn told BamaOnline.
Trent Seaborn won't visit any other schools this summer
That's an old-school mentality by Seaborn. He committed to Alabama early - giving Kalen DeBoer his pledge back in October - and there's zero concern that he might flip elsewhere.
The summer heading into senior seasons is the busiest time for official visits. If Seaborn had any thought that he might want to be anywhere other than Tuscaloosa, he would be setting up visits. Other Alabama commitments certainly will. But Seaborn is already earning Gump status without playing a down for the Crimson Tide.
Seaborn could have spent this past weekend doing anything he wanted. What did he do instead? He was in Tuscaloosa watching Alabama basketball, baseball, and softball earn wins on Saturday:

Seaborn is currently a consensus 4-star QB and, regardless of what happens during his senior year at Thompson, will finish his high school career as one of the most decorated quarterbacks in the history of the state.
He may ultimately be the 2nd best QB Alabama signs in the 2027 class, but he has been vocal about being patient and potentially taking a Mac Jones or Ty Simpson path to the starting QB job at Alabama. It worked out well for both of those quarterbacks: Jones led Alabama to a National Championship in 2020 and was a first-round pick by the New England Patriots.
Simpson didn't win a Natty, but is projected to be picked in the first round of April's draft.
