The Auburn Tigers are claiming they were 'snubbed' from the NCAA Tournament when in reality, they simply weren't good enough to get in. Ending the regular season at 18-14 with an early exit in the SEC Tournament, the selection committee simply didn't feel the Tigers had the resume to deserve a spot in the Big Dance.
Even with a few strong wins throughout the season, Auburn took too many bad losses, including one to Ole Miss later in the season that, in the end, hurt their NCAA Tournament chances.
It is not like the men's basketball team is the only Auburn team that Alabama has gotten to laugh at this year, as the football team adn the women's basketball team also did not make a bowl game or the Women's NCAA Tournament.

Auburn misses postseason tournaments in all three major sports giving Alabama fans plenty to laugh at
Auburn has been the little brother to Alabama for a long time, mainly on the football field, but now on the basketball court as well. Auburn is now a part of a small group of teams that missed postseason play in all three major sports of football and men's and women's basketball.
Alabama, on the other hand, made it to the College Football Playoff but ended up losing to the eventual National Champion Indiana Hooisers. The women's basketball team is a six-seed in the Louisville Region after falling to the eventual SEC Champion in the SEC Tournament.
The men's basketball team did get upset by Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament; however, the Tide still got a four-seed in the Midwest Region. The Crimson Tide is able to flaunt its success over the Auburn Tigers, who, at this point, are just hoping to find postseason success anywhere they can.
Alabama didn't need a family member to help make their case to get in to NCAA Tournament, as the Tide were able to do it all on their own with a stellar resume in the SEC.
