College GameDay is in Tuscaloosa in anticipation of the biggest Iron Bowl of Basketball in series history, pitting No. 1 Auburn against No. 2 Alabama at Coleman Coliseum.

There's a ton of excitement around this game and in the state of Alabama about basketball. What a world.

The Alabama student section, as you might expect, didn't miss an opportunity to troll the rival Auburn Tigers at the very beginning of College GameDay.

While Alabama was busy making a run to the Final Four for the first time in program history, Auburn suffered a humiliating loss in the NCAA Tournament's opening round. The Tigers lost to Ivy League's Yale in a 4-13 upset in the first round of last year's tournament.

Alabama fans weren't going to let Auburn forget about it, even with the Tigers currently ranking No. 1 in the AP Poll currently.

Losing early in the NCAA Tournament has been a consistent them under Bruce Pearl since Auburn made the Final Four run in 2019. The Tigers have made the tournament three times since then and they've been bounced during the opening weekend in all three tournaments.

Along with losing in the first round to Yale last season, Auburn was knocked out as a 2-seed in the second round of the 2022 tournament and as a 9-seed in the second round of the 2023 tournament.

Neither of those brought the comedy that came with the loss to an Ivy League school last season. With Alabama making the Final Four last year and Auburn getting immediately bounced, it might have been the most satisfying NCAA Tournament in program history for Crimson Tide fans.
