Are you ready to party?
The College Football Playoff announced via press release on Thursday the musical lineup for the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! and the Capital One Music Stage at AllState Championship Tailgate, which will take place on Saturday, January 17th, and Sunday, January 18th, ahead of the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday, January 19th.
There will be performances by Calvin Harris, John Summit, Xandra, Peso Pluma, Latin Mafia, and Greeicy over the weekend, and Kat Luna will perform at the AllState Championship Tailgate on Monday outside of Hard Rock Stadium before the game.
The concerts are all free to attend, which is a nice gesture following the many thousands of dollars you will have inevitably spent to travel to Miami for the National Championship Game, after already having shelled out for the semifinals, quarterfinals, and potentially a first-round playoff game and conference championship. A free concert almost makes up for it!
Gates open at 6pm on Saturday and Sunday for the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, according to the release. The Championship Tailgate with Kat Luna will run from 11am to 6pm with the National Championship Game set to kick off at 7:30pm ET.
When is the College Football Playoff?
Jockeying for playoff positioning has already begun with only two weeks left in the regular season. As usual, no matter how much they expand the playoff, there feels like there are too many teams and too few spots.
Many are already voicing their complaints about the committee's inconsistent metrics. Regardless, the playoff is almost here in the second season of the 12-team format.
Just like last year, the top four teams will receive first-round byes. Different than last year, however, is that there are no automatic byes for the four highest-ranked conference champions. The top four is the top four, regardless of whether you win your league or not.
The first round of the playoff will take place on the campus of the higher-ranked team. The 5-8 seeds in the playoff will host, and those games will take place on Friday, December 19th, and Saturday, December 20th.
The quarterfinals will take place at traditional bowl sites: the Cotton, Orange, Rose, and Sugar Bowls are the host sites. The Cotton Bowl is scheduled for New Year's Eve, with the Orange, Rose, and Sugar taking place on New Year's Day.
The Fiesta Bowl and Peach Bowl are the host sites for the semifinal matchups. The Fiesta Bowl will take place on Thursday, January 8th, with the Peach Bowl happening on Friday, January 9th.
This all leads up to the National Championship Game on January 19th.
