Sunday brought some good news for the Alabama Crimson Tide. The close loss to Georgia pushed the Crimson Tide up one spot in ESPN's FPI rankings. Alabama moved to No. 5, while Georgia held firm at No. 2. Notre Dame moved up two spots to gain the current No. 1 ranking.

As expected, Alabama's Playoff chances were not hurt by the close loss. The Crimson Tide has an 82.3% probability of making the Playoff field. Only four teams have higher Playoff chances, with Georgia at 95.7%, Miami at 94.7%, Notre Dame at 93.3%, and Indiana at 88.1%.
