Alabama football has had at least one 1st Round pick in the NFL Draft for 17 consecutive years. With Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell landing in the 1st Round in the 2025 draft, it extended the Crimson Tide's streak to seven consecutive years with multiple 1st rounders.

According to ESPN's Jordan Reid, that streak seems likely to continue into 2026.

Alabama has quite a few prospects who will be in contention for 1st Round discussions with big seasons in 2025. But the consensus top two NFL eligible prospects heading into the season for the Crimson Tide are OT Kadyn Proctor and DE LT Overton.

In Reid's way-too-early mock draft, Proctor is the No. 2 overall pick to the New York Giants. Overton is projected No. 16 overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Proctor is a massive LT and he made a big leap from his freshman-to-sophomore season at Alabama. A similar leap into his junior season would be massive for the Crimson Tide on the field in 2025 and potentially lead to an All-American season for the big man.

Proctor has the size and all the physical tools that will make NFL teams see him as a franchise left tackle. A strong season will put him in contention for the No. 1 overall pick.

Overton had an impressive debut season with the Crimson Tide after transferring from Texas A&M. He was one of Alabama's most disruptive defensive players, but a lack of finishing held him back from the type of season he could have had. Improvement in that area and Overton also has All-American potential and could easily find himself in the 1st Round next season.

Overton debated coming out for the 2025 draft, but his return helped solidify Alabama's defensive front.

Other Alabama players who could be 1st Round picks in 2026

CB Domani Jackson figures to find himself in the 1st Round conversation. He's entering his senior season and had a strong first season with the Crimson Tide after transferring from USC. He and Zabien Brown make up one of the best CB tandems in college football. With his size and speed, he has the tools NFL evaluators are looking for.

C Parker Brailsford could be a darkhorse 1st Rounder. His tape is incredible, and while he doesn't have the greatest size, it did not seem to impact his ability to be a dominant center in the SEC last season. He'll enter 2025 on the short list for the Rimington Award and will anchor what should be a strong offensive line in Tuscaloosa.

QB Ty Simpson has the physical tools, but the jury is out through his first three seasons. He's flying under the radar, but that will last only up until his first career start. You can't fly under the radar as Alabama's starting QB. A big season would lift his profile considerably.

A couple of true juniors on the defensive side of the ball could be factors as well. Former high school turned Alabama teammates James Smith and Qua Russaw could be in store for breakout seasons. Smith looked good down the stretch and should be in for a starting role up front next to fifth-year senior Tim Keenan III.

Russaw started all of last season when he was healthy and should take another leap heading into his third season.
