Former Alabama guard Collin Sexton has always been known as a passionate player. He brings fire and energy every time he is on the court.
He went viral on the internet in high school before becoming a household name with his trash-talking of NBA legend Penny Hardaway and his son during a heated game.
He went viral in college when he nearly led Alabama to a win over Minnesota with the Crimson Tide playing 3-on-5 after a slew of ejections. Sexton scored over 40 points and gave the Gophers a scare despite the massive advantage.
On Monday night, during just his second game as a member of the Chicago Bulls after getting traded by the Charlotte Hornets at the NBA Trade Deadline, Sexton went viral again in an all-too-relatable moment of frustration.
Sexton, an 87% free throw shooter on the season, was incensed at missing a free throw during Chicago's loss to the Brooklyn Nets. After making the second one, he let out his frustration by flipping off the rim:

Collin Sexton gives the rim the bird finger after missed free throw
I mean, who among us, right? Who hasn't been that frustrated by the rim they were playing on to want to throw up the bird? We just never had the chance to do so during a live NBA game. It hits a little differently than it would at the rec center.
Sexton can probably expect a small fine from the NBA, but the specific language of the fine will be funny to read. I've seen plenty of players extend the middle finger to fans, but I've truly never seen anyone stick it up at the rim out of sheer frustration
Sexton is one of the nicest guys you can meet off the court. But when he steps in between those lines, it's like a switch flips. He's a total psychopath on the basketball court.
And that's why we love him.
