After a week off, Alabama basketball is ready to get back on the hardwood and finish its non-conference schedule against South Dakota State on Sunday afternoon in Coleman Coliseum.
It's the final tune-up for the Crimson Tide before they begin the gauntlet of SEC play with a matchup in Tuscaloosa against Oklahoma on January 4th.
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the Crimson Tide and Jackrabbits with Alabama having won the previous three meetings. The last time the two teams met was two years ago in Coleman when Noah Clowney scored 22 points to lead Alabama to a 78-65 victory.
South Dakota State is an NCAA Tournament mainstay and has won the Summit League two out of the last three seasons. They'll enter the game ranked No. 119 in KenPom and with a 9-5 record. They've played one common opponent with Alabama as they beat Will Wade and McNeese by seven in their season opener.
How to watch Alabama vs. South Dakota State:
Alabama and South Dakota State will tip off at 2pm CT on Sunday, 12/29. The game will not be broadcast on regular television. It will be broadcast on SEC Network+/ESPN+, which requires a subscription.

Alabama head coach Nate Oats figures to use this game to try and narrow the rotation down a little bit more heading into conference play. Alabama's defense played at a high level in its last outing - a blowout win over Kent State - and it will try and get its offense going against South Dakota State.
