How to watch Alabama basketball in the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas
Alabama basketball is in Las Vegas for the first-ever Players Era Festival. On the line is more than bragging rights for winning an early season tournament. The winner will earn $9 million in NIL dollars for 2024 alone. The tournament is also committed to providing $50 million in NIL to the winning program over the next three years. It's a big deal.
Alabama is guaranteed to play three games in Vegas. They'll play on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, followed by the championship round on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide enters the tournament ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll and 4-1 overall. Alabama bounced back from a road loss at Purdue by knocking off Illinois in Birmingham last week.
Alabama will play Houston tonight at 7 PM CT. The Cougars are 3-1 and ranked 6th in the country. Their only loss was a close game against Auburn.
On Wednesday, Alabama will play Rutgers at 9 PM. The Scarlet Knights recently suffered a loss to Kennesaw State. The Owls are coached by former Alabama guard and assistant coach Antoine Pettway.
How to watch/stream Alabama basketball in the Players Era Festival
Alabama's games against Houston and Rutgers will be televised on TBS. You can also stream the games on Max with a subscription.
Saturday's game is TBD for Alabama. If Alabama wins both games, it will likely win the "Impact Group" side of the bracket and play in the championship game against the "Power Group" winner. The power group features Texas A&M, Creighton, Oregon, and San Diego State.
If Alabama is in the championship game, it will tip off at 8:30 PM on TNT. If Alabama is in second place in its group, it will play in the third place game at 6 PM on TNT. Third place in the group would put Alabama in the fifth-place game at 2:30 PM on TruTV. A last-place finish in the group would put the Crimson Tide in the 7th-place game at 12 PM on TruTV.
Alabama fans will be hoping for any game aside from the fifth-place game on Saturday as a 2:30 PM tip-off would coincide with kickoff of the Iron Bowl. There could be some overlap with the third-place game as well. The only for sure game there wouldn't be is if Alabama makes it to the championship game.
All games on Saturday will also be streamed on Max.
