Jalen Milroe stays trolling Auburn at Seahawks training camp

Jalen Milroe's Alabama career wasn't perfect, but he was a perfect 2-0 against Auburn, and his new teammate should've kept that in mind.

Former Auburn Tiger Derick Hall, one of Jalen Milroe’s new teammates on the Seattle Seahawks, tried to get the former Alabama quarterback with a training camp prank, but as is often the case, it was the Tide who got the last laugh.

On a video originally posted to the Seahawks' official TikTok, Hall concealed an orange Auburn hat underneath a white hat and asked Milroe to sign it. As Milroe began to sign the white hat, Hall pulled it away, hoping to get his signature on the Auburn cap below. After initially recoiling, Milroe went to sign it before proclaiming, I’m undefeated against Auburn.

Alabama is currently riding a five-game win streak in the Iron Bowl, which includes all four of Milroe’s years in Tuscaloosa and his two as the starting quarterback for the Tide. The rivalry also included Milroe’s greatest moment at Alabama, one that, despite an up-and-down career and a disappointing final campaign in Kalen DeBoer’s first season leading the program, has forever etched him into Alabama history.

Milroe’s 4th-and-31 heroics came one year after Hall left Auburn for the NFL, so he may not have realized that he was walking into a trap with the friendly prank of his new teammate, but that’s exactly how it played out and gave Milroe the last laugh.

With the rivalry already bubbling up between Hall and Milroe, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a friendly wager between the two as the Iron Bowl approaches. If that’s the case, Milroe should feel pretty confident, because even without him there to bail the Tide out of a 4th-and-forever, Alabama will be heavily favored against Auburn.

The rivalry has become increasingly one-sided lately, so there’s no need for Milroe to retaliate for this prank; he can just let his former teammates do the talking in late November.
