It's safe to say that there's been plenty of drama surrounding the Miami Dolphins of late, which was expected after another rough year. This week alone, countless headlines were made when speedster Tyreek Hill was released. Could the same fate be on the way for Jaylen Waddle?

Former Alabama WR throws shade at staff for how Kalen DeBoer is recruiting

The former Alabama standout has enjoyed a great start to his career, but out of nowhere, an internet troll started up speculation that Waddle was trying to force his way out of South Florida. People fell for it big, which was unfortunate. However, Waddle took to social media himself to silence those rumors with a simple 'cap' emoji:

Jaylen Waddle has shut down rumors he wants out of Miami during free agency

There are probably countless Miami supporters who are quite relieved to see that from the wide receiver. Despite the Dolphins not living up to the hype in recent years, Waddle, when healthy, has been a reliable option for the Miami offense.

Moving forward, though, there's plenty of uncertainty surrounding the AFC South side. Hill is on his way out of town and Tua Tagovailoa's days as the starting quarterback are over. Former Dolphins GM Chris Grier gave Tagovailoa a $212.4 million extension, but that call fully backfired on the organization.

Oh, and Mike McDaniel has been fired, with Jeff Hafley taking over as the team's new head coach. Hafley has some tough calls to make, but it's clear that he doesn't have to worry about whether or not Waddle is going to be committed to his plans for the future.

The No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Waddle joined the Dolphins after helping Alabama win the national championship. He was injured for that CFP title game, but he pushed through the pain to make a difference for his team. Since then, he's been a Bama fan favorite and the support has continued with him now in Miami. That's not going to change either. In 2025 for the Dolphins, Waddle posted 64 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns.
