Chances are, when 3-star TE Michael Nnabuife committed to Syracuse back on May 20th, that commitment didn't register on the radar of many Alabama fans.
Sure, Nnabuife held an offer from Alabama, but programs hand out "offers" all the time, and not all of them are committable. Such was the case of Nnabuife, and he was never made a priority by Kalen DeBoer and the Tide staff.
That appears to be changing.
In the aftermath of 4-star TE Colt Lumpris flipping to Michigan and then 4-star TE Malik Howard cancelling his planned official visit to Tuscaloosa, it appears that DeBoer and his staff are circling back on Nnabuife as they continue their pursuit of a second TE in this class to join New York native Oakley Keegan.
According to BamaOnLine's Andrew Bone, Nnabuife has confirmed plans to take an official visit to Alabama, even after his recent commitment to Syracuse:
St. Frances Academy TE @mikennabuife reaffirms plans to return to Alabama for an OV after recent commitment to Syracuse.

Alabama will get a visit from Syracuse TE commitment Michael Nnabuife
Bone didn't specify in the tweet when Nnabuife's visit would be, but if his 247 profile is to be believed, he'll be in Tuscaloosa next weekend starting on June 5th.
Nnabuife is a different type of prospect from either Lumpris or Howard. Those two are more receiving-type tight ends, while Nnabuife is more of the in-line blocking tight end. He's already listed at 6-foot-5 and 242 pounds as a high school junior.
Alabama would figure to be in a strong spot for Nnabuife if they really push for him. He was high school teammates with Alabama freshman safety Jireh Edwards last season at St. Francs Academy in Baltimore, which is something that will help him feel a lot more comfortable in Tuscaloosa.
The Baltimore product is currently ranked as a consensus 3-star recruit and the No. 1025 prospect in the composite rankings. He's purely an upside swing.
DeBoer and company are currently in the midst of their biggest recruiting weekend of the summer. Elite prospects like Monshun Sales, among others, are on campus right now. But there are plenty of other weekends that will feature high-end talent in Tuscaloosa, and while Nnabuife might not be at the top of the priority list, he's a player who could be beneficial as Alabama continues to pursue more physicality at the line of scrimmage.
