LT Overton has an obvious and immediate role for the Dallas Cowboys

Overton's college production at Alabama under Tide defensive coordinator Kane Wommack showed his capabilities to fit this role, reflecting as a player whose impact extended beyond traditional stat lines. Over two seasons in Tuscaloosa, he accumulated 77 total tackles, including 9 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, and 12 quarterback hurries, consistently flashing the disruptive ability Dallas is looking for in the wake of Odighizuwa's departure.

While not used as a full-time stat accumulator, his production profile underscores a player who consistently created pressure, held his own against SEC competition, and offers the kind of positional flexibility that translates directly to an immediate rotational role.
