Mark Ingram takes playful jab at Julian Sayin that Alabama fans will crack up at

Former Alabama Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram couldn't help but rib Julian Sayin a little bit.

They don't call him King Gump for no reason.

If one thing is for certain, Mark Ingram is going to carry the flag of his alma mater.

The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner hasn't let his media career with Fox get in the way of his allegiance to Alabama. He takes every opportunity to let that be known, whether it's riling up crowds in Big Ten territory or taking playful jabs at players who transferred away from the Crimson Tide.

The latter group includes Ohio State QB Julian Sayin, who signed with Alabama in the 2024 recruiting class and enrolled early, going through Rose Bowl prep and spending a few weeks in Tuscaloosa. Upon Nick Saban's retirement, Sayin, a former 5-star recruit, chose to enter the Transfer Portal and joined the Buckeyes, where he won the starting QB job this past season.

It's hard to blame Sayin for leaving, as Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama staff didn't make him a real priority, instead choosing to bring their own young QB, Austin Mack, over from Washington.

That won't get in the way of Ingram ribbing him, however.

Mark Ingram jokes that Julian Sayin left "Everything U" when he transferred from Alabama

On The Triple Option podcast with Ingram and former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, one clip shows Meyer and Sayin talking about the Buckeyes as "Wide Receiver U." Ingram chimed in, stating that Sayin had left "Everything U" when he decided to transfer from Alabama:

I'm not sure what the best part of that clip is. Ingram cutting in on the moment between Sayin and Meyer, Sayin's face as Ingram says "Everything U", or the maniacal laughter and celebratory "Roll Damn Tide" from Ingram in the aftermath.

The Buckeyes certainly have the title of "WRU" right now, but the Crimson Tide has continuously produced more pros than anyone else over the last two decades.

Ingram wasn't going to miss an opportunity to flaunt that.
