We are halfway through the college football regular season, which means the top 2026 NFL Draft prospects are beginning to separate themselves from the pack.

Alabama has multiple insane NFL Draft streaks that it will look to extend next year. For 17 straight years, the Crimson Tide has produced at least one first-round pick. For seven straight years, Alabama has produced multiple first-round picks, including last season with Tyler Booker (12th) and Jihaad Campbell (31st).

And in the draft as a whole, for 14 consecutive years, Alabama has produced at least seven total draft picks.

If Mel Kiper's first big board and positional rankings for the 2026 draft are any indication, all of those streaks are set to continue.

Kiper ranked his Top 25 prospects as well as his Top 10 at each position. Alabama was heavily featured, including two in Kiper's overall Top 25:

16. Ty Simpson
25. Kadyn Proctor

Proctor has been seen as a likely first-round pick in the 2026 draft since he was a freshman in Tuscaloosa. He had a difficult start to his junior campaign against Florida State, but the standout left tackle has played exceptionally well in recent weeks, while also showing his versatility with Alabama's newest - and largest - skill package.

Simpson has seen a meteoric rise in just six starts. He was not on NFL Draft radars to open the season because there just wasn't enough tape. Now, he's firmly in the first round discussion, and if his trajectory continues its upward trend, it won't be a surprise if he gets himself in the debate for the No. 1 pick.

Alabama players featured prominently in Mel Kiper's NFL Draft positional Top 10s

Simpson and Proctor were the only two in his Top 25, but there were plenty of other Tide draft prospects featured in his positional Top 10s.

Ty Simpson - QB3
Germie Bernard - WR7
Kadyn Proctor - OT3
Parker Brailsford - IOL9
LT Overton - DE4
Tim Keenan III - DT7
Justin Jefferson - ILB6
Bray Hubbard - S2

Based on where they are ranked, it's clear that both LT Overton and Bray Hubbard would be in the mix for first-round selections if Kiper were doing a mock draft. Overton is no surprise; the senior defensive end has gotten off to a strong start this season, leading Alabama with three sacks.

Hubbard, like Proctor, shook off a disappointing performance in the opener to be the player Alabama fans thought he could be.

Parker Brailsford is criminally underrated as the No. 9 interior offensive lineman. He's a bit undersized, which will be the knock on him in the NFL Draft process, but Brailsford is the best center in the country, and his athletic testing will likely be off-the-charts at the NFL Combine next year.

Alabama has a few other players who will be looking to work their way into the conversation, including RB Jam Miller, WR Isaiah Horton, TE Josh Cuevas, LB Deontae Lawson, CB Domani Jackson, and S Keon Sabb.
