Due to winter weather preventing the NCAA's attorney from getting to Tuscaloosa for Tuesday's scheduled preliminary injunction hearing to determine Charles Bediako's eligibility for the remainder of the season, Tuscaloosa County Judge James Roberts has issued a 10-day extension on Bediako's restraining order.

That means the former-turned-current Alabama basketball center will be eligible to play for at least two more games: Tuesday night's home matchup against Missouri and Sunday afternoon's road tilt in Gainesville against Florida.

This was first reported by Tuscaloosa Patch's Ryan Phillips:

Charles Bediako granted an extension on his Temporary Restraining Order against the NCAA

Bediako made his Alabama re-debut on Saturday night against Tennessee. The short-handed Crimson Tide ultimately fell short, but Bediako made a substantial impact in his first game back in Tuscaloosa in three years. He put up 13 points with three rebounds, two steals, and two blocked shots in 25 minutes of action.

He was the rim-running and rim-protecting Bediako all Alabama fans remember from three years ago, while adding a couple of new things to his bag.

It was an impressive debut for Bediako, who only had a single practice with the team under his belt before he took the court with his new teammates.

With Alabama expected to get Aden Holloway back on Tuesday at home against Missouri, the Crimson Tide will take a step toward looking more like the team it has the potential to be. Bediako will play a big part in that.

Hopefully, the five-day gap between Tuesday's matchup with Missouri and Sunday's road game at Florida will give Amari Allen enough time to get back on the court, which would give an even clearer look at what this team could look like close to full strength.

There is not yet a date for the rescheduled injunction hearing, though it stands to reason that it will come within the next 10 days before the TRO officially expires.
