ESPN's Football Power Index algorithm was unmoved by the Alabama Crimson Tide's win over LSU. Alabama held steady at No. 4 among all FBS teams. Three Big Ten teams also head serve above the Crimson Tide: Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon.
Only two teams in the FPI rankings' top 11 teams had any movement after college football's Week 11. After its win over Missouri, the Texas A&M Aggies moved up two spots to No. 7. Utah had a bye in Week 11, but also dropped two spots to No. 9.
Georgia Bulldogs' fans are not fond of the FPI. The Dawgs remained at No. 6 after easily beating Mississippi State. What rankles Georgia fans is that two-loss Notre Dame is ranked ahead of Georgia at No. 5. Despite the Georgia loss to Alabama, fans of the Dawgs are unwilling to accept that Alabama is a better team.
Ole Miss fans don't love the FPI either. The Rebels moved up one spot to No. 12, and two-loss Texas is ranked above Ole Miss at No. 8.
The Longhorns and the Aggies at No. 8 and No. 7 are headed for a showdown in Austin on the last Saturday of the regular season.
