This man really is the GOAT. Now that Nick Saban is retired, you think he's just forgotten about what's going on with the Alabama football team? Absolutely not. Saban is still tuned in and he's ready for the program to land some big-name recruits this weekend.
Matter of fact, Saban is doing his part to help out with the recruiting efforts. On Friday, we wrote about Saban making an impact with 5-star EDGE Tank Jones. Fast forward to Saturday and Saban is once again turning heads, this time with 5-star running back Ezavier Crowell. Will Saban being in his ear help the Tide win this recruiting battle?

5-star RB Ezavier Crowell was all smiles hanging out with Nick Saban
Just look at that smile on Crowell's face. Think it means something to him to hang out and take a photo with one of the best football coaches of all time? It sure does. This of course is part of what's proving to be a memorable weekend in Tuscaloosa for the speedster.
Crowell is ranked five stars and one of the top running backs in the country. Throughout his recruitment, the 5-11, 205-pounder has picked up well over 30 offers, but there are only a handful of schools who remain in the hunt to land his commitment.
Alabama is of course on that list, with Crowell ready to make his final decision on June 26. He will be choosing between Alabama, Auburn, Texas, Florida, Florida State and Georgia. So, which school will he end up picking?
We'll find out in the coming days, but there's no question that Alabama is in a prime spot to grab his verbal. If that ends up being the case, there's no question that Kalen DeBoer will be ready to give Saban an assist. Crowell isn't the only elite prospect who could end up committing after this weekend too. Big news should be on the way soon for DeBoer and Co.
