5 Alabama football players who will be rewarded for staying with Kalen DeBoer

Alabama’s offensive tackles both left, one for the NFL and the other for Iowa, but the interior mostly stayed intact. Center Seth McLaughlin transferred to Ohio State but was promptly replaced by Parker Brailsford, who is an upgrade with multiple years of eligibility remaining.
DeBoer will need to figure out a plan at left and right tackle, but with Booker back in Tuscaloosa, he’s set at left guard. Booker played 802 snaps there last season and only gave up 15 pressures and two sacks. However, he could get even more recognition for playing in a Ryan Grubb offense.
WAshington’s offensive line won the Joe Moore Award last season and a big reason was that Michael Penix Jr. was excellent at getting the ball out of his hand. Jalen Milroe’s time to throw will likely decrease in this new offense which will help Booker’s already outstanding pass-blocking numbers.
With his legit NFL size at 6-foot-5 335 pounds, Booker could easily find himself as an early Day 2 pick in the 2025 draft after a year with DeBoer and Grubb.
