As the SEC Tournament 3-seed the Alabama Crimson Tide is on the same side of the tournament bracket as the SEC's hottest team; the Kentucky Wildcats. Alabama will open its SEC Tournament play on Friday night against the winner of Florida vs. the winner of Georgia vs. Missouri.

Assuming both the Crimson Tide and the Wildcats win on Friday, the two teams would meet in Saturday afternoon's Semi-Final.

SEC Tournament: What will happen

Oddsmakers have Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky, and Alabama as the favorites. Most projections give the Cats the fourth-best chance to win, with the Vols having the best chance.

The oddsmakers could be wrong because going into the tournament Kentucky is the SEC's hottest team. The Cats have won seven of their last eight games, with the single loss by one point in Baton Rouge.

Tennessee has also won seven of their last eight games, closing with a home loss to Kentucky. In terms of trending teams, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina have each won five of their last eight games.

It will be a shock if any of the other eight teams win the SEC Tournament.
