Kalen DeBoer Coaching Career

Sioux Falls - 2010-2013

In the first-year post, Kalen DeBoer Ryan Grubb stepped in as the offensive coordinator for Sioux Falls as the offense averaged 31.22 points per game. The team would see a slight uptick in points per game the following season scoring 31.27 points per game before scoring 33 points per game in Grubb's final season.

Fresno State - 2020-2021

Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb were tasked with taking over a Fresno State team coming off of a 4-8 season with all of the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the shortened Covid-19 season the Fresno State Bulldogs went 3-3, averaging 32.83 points per game after the team averaged 30 points per game the year prior.

The 2021 Fresno State team took a slight jump offensively with Ryan Grubb having a full off-season to help the players learn the offense. The Bulldogs jumped to 33.38 points per game despite playing a tougher schedule, facing three top-25 teams after playing only a conference schedule the season prior.
