An awesome early signing day continues for Nick Saban and the Alabama Football team as they land four-star running back and Tuscaloosa native Kevin Riley. The Alabama Football team has landed three recruits not committed before signing day, Kevin Riley, Steve Mboumoua, and Aeryn Hampton. Signing day has seen Alabama climb to second in class rankings behind the Georgia Bulldogs while standing only 15 points behind according to 24/7 sports class rankings.

Riley is a massive addition to the 2024 signing class as running back was the clear weakness in the 2024 class. The Alabama Football team now has top five players at the Quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end positions in the 2024 class. The Alabama Football team has significant fire power in this year's class which could build a solid foundation offensively for the years to come.

Kevin Riley was committed to Miami since June however, Alabama never gave up its pursuit swooping in late to keep the Tuscaloosa native at home. Running backs coach Robert Gillespie continues a great recruiting run as he's now signed Riley, Justice Haynes, and Richard Young in recent years among several other elite running back talents like Alvin Kamara.
