The Alabama Football team has gotten news of its first departure as Dallas Turner declared for the NFL Draft following the Rose Bowl. Turner declared telling Alex Scarborough of ESPN the following:
"I'm gone. Ain't no if, ands or buts about it."Dallas Turner
The news comes as no surprise as Dallas Turner will no doubt be a first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft. Turner was one of the best edge rushers in the country over his three seasons for the Alabama Football team recording 21.5 sacks, 117 tackles, forcing two fumbles, and scoring one defensive touchdowns.
This season was Turner's most impressive year as he recorded nine sacks in his first season as the team's premier edge rusher. Every week it felt like Dallas Turner was making a big play in sacking the quarterback or slowing the opposing teams rushing attack.
In most current mock drafts Dallas Turner is going from pick four to fifteen as he's ranked in the top three edge rusher's in nearly every experts big board.
Turner will leave a massive hole for the Alabama Football team to replace especially if Chris Braswell departs with him. The Alabama Football team has started the process of replacing him by landing transfer defensive lineman LT Overton from Texas A&M.
