4. Casey Poe (4-star offensive lineman)

Even under the new regime, Alabama Football represents an unchanging brand and standard. That standard starts in the trenches, and 4-star interior offensive lineman Casey Poe was a big-time addition in 2024.

Amidst all this transfer portal chaos and roster movement, Bama is fortunate to return what may be the best offensive guard duo in the sport in Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts. As a result, it won’t need Poe to contribute immediately at his natural position.

However, Bama is growing perilously thin at tackle and center, and has a growing need on the offensive line. I’m not sure about Casey Poe’s positional versatility at the college level, but he is the best offensive lineman Alabama landed in the 2024 class. Even if he does not start, he will provide necessary depth for a team that may not have much up front.

5. Aeryn Hampton (4-star wide receiver)

Another position that has lost a lot of production is wide receiver. The Tide lost its top receiver in Jermaine Burton to the NFL and has already lost five more to the portal, including a major contributor in Isaiah Bond.

Alabama Football fans are still hoping the Tide will re-sign 5-star Ryan Williams to the 2024 class, but Williams’ status remains in question. Even without Williams, Bama’s receiver class will have plenty of talent.

4-star receiver Aeryn Hampton was one of the top prospects in the state of Texas, and could be an electric addition to Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb’s new-look Alabama offense.

Fellow 4-star wideouts Amari Jefferson and Rico Scott are just as important, but won’t be on campus until summer. Collectively, this trio is very underrated and could be the key weapons in a high-octane passing game for Bama a couple years down the road.
