Entering early signing day the Alabama Football Program will hold the Nation's third-ranked class with a chance to vault higher in the rankings should they flip a few recruits. The Alabama Football team has positioned itself nicely heading into signing day landing a few commitments late in the process to lighten the late load of protecting your class and flipping other classes' players. The Alabama Football program stole the show last year flipping number one tackle Kadyn Proctor from Iowa heading into National Signing Day to land the Alabama Football team the Top Recruiting class of all time.

The Alabama Football team will have several opportunities to flip commitments in their favor on Early Signing Day and may even get news of such flips in the hours leading up to Early Signing Day. The position group to watch is running back where the Alabama Football team currently has no commitments but, that most likely will change on Wednesday.

The names to watch at the running back position are Kevin Riley and Jadan Baugh. Kevin Riley is a Tuscaloosa native although he's currently committed to the Miami Hurricanes. Riley the 116th-ranked prospect received crystal balls from 24/7 sports indicating that he'll flip his commitment to the Alabama Football team. Riley visited the Alabama Football program this weekend as Nick Saban and the coaching staff try to keep the top running back in Tuscaloosa. Jadan Baugh de-committed from Arkansas Monday night opening his recruitment back up as Florida and Alabama push for his services. Multiple sources at On3 Sports have claimed that Alabama moved to the top of Baugh's list but that may change should Alabama land Kevin Riley.

The biggest name to watch on National Signing Day for Alabama will be Ohio State commitment Eddrick Houston. Houston visited Tuscaloosa this weekend and isn't 100% in his commitment to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are going through a recruiting struggle as they've lost out on top running back Jordan Lyle who flipped from Ohio State to Miami. Lyle's flip to Miami may lead to Alabama landing Kevin Riley as well as diminishing the Buckeye's chances of keeping Houston committed. Nick Saban has a strong history of recruiting Buford Georgia as Houston's teammates Isaiah Bond, Jake Pope, and Justice Haynes all committed to Alabama.

The final name to watch entering Early Signing Day is three-star offensive tackle Favour Edwin who visited Tuscaloosa this past weekend. The race for Edwin is seemingly down to Alabama and Auburn with Alabama seemingly ahead of Auburn but, the race is neck and neck. At 6 foot 8 300 pounds Edwin may become a monster after a year or so in the Alabama Football strength and conditioning program.

Alabama Football: Another loaded recruiting class for Nick Saban

Even if Alabama Football doesn't land any additional recruits they will bring in a loaded recruiting class for the 2024 season. The Crimson Tide will bring in arguably the top quarterback, wide receiver, and cornerback in this year's class in Julian Sayin, Ryan Williams, and Jaylen Mbakwe. Offensively this year's class is loaded with offensive talent with Williams and Sayin headlining the names but players like Caleb Odom at tight end could end up being among the top players in all of college football. The class does have a hole at running back but I'd fully expect for the coaching staff to sign a running back as soon as tomorrow, if not in the second signing period.
