10. 2019 (11-2) Citrus Bowl win

In 2019 there was a juggernaut team in college football. Sadly for Alabama, that team was LSU. Joe Burrow turned into a monster his final year with the Tigers and 2019 LSU might be the best team in college football history.

The only team that threatened Coach O’s Tigers, was Alabama. Tua Tagovailoa and the Crimson Tide went shot for shot with Burrow, throwing for 418 yards and four touchdowns. Tua’s interception right before the half, which Burrow cashed in for a touchdown on one play, cost Bama the game as LSU went into the half with a 33-13 lead. The Crimson Tide roared back in the second half and lost 46-41 in a shootout.

Alabama’s second loss of the season came to Auburn, but it came with Mac Jones at quarterback, not Tua. LSU cruised to a title while Bama beat Michigan in the Citrus Bowl, but the Crimson Tide were the second-best team in the country that season.
