With Alabama nearing its end of the 2024 recruiting cycle, we like to give some names to focus on for the 2025 recruiting class. These guys might already be committed to Alabama, but some will be one's that Nick Saban and company look to snag between now and next year.

Alabama Football 2025 Commits

These two recruits bring a certain zing to the 2025 class early on and are notorious for trying to bring along other recruits already.

1.) Zion Grady-Edge-Ranked as the 25th overall player in the 2025 class, Grady is an Edge rusher who creates constant pressure and brings explosive energy to each snap. Grady has an incredible frame right now and could see some muscle added when he time is right, but as of right now, he is showing how explosive he can be. With Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell likely departing this season, it does not hurt at all to have this 5-star rolling in to add some depth and a prospective look as he progresses. Check out his YouTube Highlights when you can, as it will likely bring a smile to anybody who enjoys a mean edge rusher.

2.) Jaime Ffrench-Wide Receiver- Ffench is another one of those high profile guys that most Alabama fans cant wait to see hit the field in Tuscaloosa. Ffrench is a 5-star receiver, much like Ryan Williams before he reclassified. At 6'1 185, the receiver out of Jacksonville, Florida looks to follow in the foot steps of Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle and a long list of wide receivers who not only make an impact from day one in title town, but later on in the NFL as well. He has a solid stature which kind of reminds of a little of Devonta "Smitty" Smith, with his ability to run crisp routes, dynamic slants, and make tacklers miss with his slick cuts. Those are certainly big shoes to fill for arguably the most decorated WR in Alabama history, however I can assure you Ffrench has the mentality to accept any challenge.

Alabama Football Covets:

After a historic 2023 class and a 2nd place finish in 2024, Alabama is certianly looking at several high profile players to snag and bring to the Capstone. With NIL playing such a big factor these days, it would not surprise me to see Nick Saban and the rest of the Crimson Tide stuff use their track record with recruits, All Americans, NFL players, and National Championships to help combat some of the NIL rustles going on. The following guys would likely help Alabama land a top 5 finish in 2025 while bringing in elite talent to replenish those heading to the NFL and graduating.

1.) Bryce Underwood-QB- If you have not heard of the #1 rated QB in the class of 2025, you certainly have now-- Underwood brings not only size, dynamics, and arm talent, but a history of hard work and winning. After bringing back-to-back state Championships to Belleview High School, Bryce will look to bring his school a third championship, all while experiencing the recruiting process. As of right now, it seems that LSU could be the leader for Underwood, but after a late visit to Alabama, some belive the Crimson Tide are in better shape than to have believed. After landing the #1 overall QB recruit in 2024, Alabama would love to bring Underwood home and continue to produce NFL quarterbacks. Not only that but Underwood would be a huge recruiting win for Bama with him residing from Michigan.

2.) David Sanders Jr.-OT- After the 2023 class brought in a stout offensive line group, 2024 was considering a little lackluster. What a better way to rebound than to bring in not only the #2 overall player in the class, but the #1 offensive lineman overall. If Alabama is going to continue to prep the trenches with viable studs, Sanders needs to be at the top of their priority list, and there's a good chance he already is. He has already drawn comparisons to Seattle Seahawks, Charles Cross. If Saban can land Sanders, it sets up a recipe for success on the battlefield where the nit and gritty go down. If you take a look at Sanders tape from this past season, you can definitely see the similarities to Cross and why he can be a vital piece for 2025.

3.) DJ Pickett-DB- Want to see a comparison to Alabama legend Partick Surtain Jr? Look no further than 5-star defense back, DJ Pickett. Coming in at 6'2, 170 pounds Picket is tall, lengthy, and has long considered a ball hawk. He currently plays at Safety, but Alabama is considering him as a cornerback with such frame and skillset. As much as Alabama loves their defensive backs, Pickett would be a homerun. Pickett recently took a quick visit to Alabama and even included them in his Top 5 he released recently. Pickett would be a tremendous addition to the Crimson Tide defense and a solid jumpstart to the 2025 recruiting class.

With so much in state talent this year, let's not forget about those who are out the typical Bama range. Its a known fact that Georgia, Texas, Ohio State, and even Auburn are currently riding a high with solid finishes in their respective recruiting classes, however its time for Alabama to turn up the heat and continue to show the world why the dynasty lives on-- at least in our heads. As we have said before, as much change as there is and to come regarding new coaches, new SEC teams, NIL, and all, Nick Saban is the non changing factor for Alabama and continues to give Alabama the reason to compete for recruiting wins and National Championships year in, and year out.
