Kalen DeBoer and his staff have been hard at work on the recruiting trail as they look to build their first Alabama class. Under Nick Saban the class had reached the second-ranked per 24/7 sports but, de-commitments and the reclassifying of Ryan Williams have caused the class to fall to the 30th-ranked recruiting class.

The Junior Day festivities will be crucial for Kalen DeBoer and his staff as many of the prospects visiting Tuscaloosa will be meeting the staff for the first time. Junior Day will serve as an introduction to the players for the new staff while also continuing relationships built under Nick Saban. It's highly unlikely that we see any players commit to the Alabama Football program this weekend but, we may see some players re-commit or confirm they're staying with the program.

Kalen DeBoer had a recruiting secret weapon in attendance in 2024 commit Ryan Williams. His role at Junior Day can't be understated, as one of the more popular recruits in the country Williams has a few connections in the 2025 class where he originally was committed before reclassifying. The connections Williams has from showcases and camps may play a massive role in bringing in recruits.

The 2025 recruiting class still has two commitments in top running back recruit Anthony Rogers and four-star, athlete Myles Johnson. Anthony Rogers and Johnson both came to Tuscaloosa for junior day while Kalen DeBoer visited Johnson this past weekend at his high school.
