Alabama Football: Three landmark games for Kalen DeBoer in 2024
Alabama Football will face many tough tests in year one under new coach Kalen DeBoer. The 2024 schedule will not be easy as Coach DeBoer gets integrated into a new-look SEC that will feature 16 teams.
The schedule includes three road trips that would be highlighted on the schedule in most years.
Bama will first head to Camp Randall Stadium for a non-conference bout with Wisconsin. It will then return to Baton Rouge to play longtime SEC West rival LSU in Death Valley. Finally, it will travel to Norman to help welcome the Oklahoma Sooners into the SEC.
On paper, this is a remarkably tough trio of games. In the latest era of conference expansion and realignment, schedules have become exponentially more difficult for SEC and Big 10 teams, and games of this magnitude have suddenly become the norm.
However, another trio of games on the Crimson Tide’s 2024 schedule transcends all of the change that is taking place in college football. These three rivalry games will largely determine how Bama’s 2024 season will be perceived, both by Tide fans and the media alike.
