The Alabama Football team will play host to two of the nation's top transfers as LT Overton and Fadil Diggs will visit Tuscaloosa this weekend. Overton and Diggs are former Texas A&M Aggies who have hit the transfer portal along with tons of their teammates after Jimbo Fisher's firing.

LT Overton is the second-ranked defensive lineman in the transfer portal and the 12th player overall. Through two seasons at Texas A&M Overton recorded 48 total tackles and a sack while playing on a loaded defensive line along with top transfers Walter Nolen and Fadil Diggs. Overton would be a great addition for the Alabama Football team as they'll lose their top two edge rushers in Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell to the NFL Draft.

Fadil Diggs is the 30th-ranked player in the transfer portal and the sixth-ranked edge rusher in the transfer portal. Diggs has received 24/7 crystal balls to Syracuse where he'll also be visiting. It's unclear if the Alabama Football team will be able to land the New Jersey native over the local Syracuse but, the college football playoff may be a big pitch for Diggs. In four seasons at Texas A&M Diggs has recorded eight sacks, 75 tackles, and three forced fumbles. Diggs like Overton could play a massive role in helping replace the production of Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell at Edge.

Alabama Football: Full steam ahead on the recruiting trail

The Alabama Football program is in the busiest recruiting push of the year as early signing day is less than a week away. Nick Saban has been busy with in-home visits visiting Alabama commit Sterling Dixon a four-star linebacker, Auburn commit five-star wide receiver Perry Thompson, and Linebacker target Tristan Jernigan on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide currently have the fourth-ranked recruiting class for 2024 behind Georgia, Ohio State, and Florida State heading into the last week before signing day. The next week will certainly provide drama as the Alabama Football team looks to flip some of the nation's top recruits while protecting their own. The Alabama Football team will be a more attractive landing space in the transfer portal as established stars look to land on a better team to help their draft stock.
