We've given you our analysis of every angle of Alabama Football's matchup on Saturday night against Georgia. But here at Bama Hammer, we are mere mortals. We think we know what we are talking about, but at the end of the day it's all guess work. Once the opening kickoff happens tomorow night in Tuscaloosa, it's anybody's guess on what happens between those lines.

However, we strive for more here. We can't accept that all we are giving you is guesswork and our takes on what might transpire between the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs. We needed to consult the real experts, an AI so advanced that it's accuracy can be downright scary. Something that would positively, unequivocally let you, dear reader, know exactly what was going to happen and remove any stress you might have over an uncertain outcome.

Fear not, we hold in our hands the results of a single, undoubtedly accurate simulation of Alabama vs. Georgia utilizing the greatest technology of our moden times: EA Sports' CFB 25 video game on my PS5.

The holy grail of sports video game experiences. Something that removes any need for us to offer any further analysis on this game because now we know who is going to win. And you're about to know too.

But I can't give you this information too quickly, you have to earn it a bit. I'm a sucker for suspense.

1st Quarter:

Score:
Alabama 3, Georgia 3

Both teams traded field goals in the first quarter. Georgia got the ball first, and put together a good first drive that ultimately stalled with the Tide's defense forcing a 37 yard field goal by Peyton Woodring.

Alabama marched on a long drive to counter, and with Milroe connecting on a few passes on third downs to keep drives alive, the Tide threatened to score the first touchdown of the season on the Bulldogs.

Alas, Georgia's defense held, and Graham Nicholson hit his first field goal for Alabama, a 23-yarder to tie the game.

2nd Quarter:

Halftime score:
Georgia 10, Alabama 6

Despite leading in total yardage 169-142, Alabama finds themselves trailing at the half, and like the three opponents in the Bulldog graveyard already in 2024, failed to find the endzone through the game's first 30-minutes.

After trading punts, Georgia put together a strong drive capped off by a Carson Beck 16 yard touchdown pass to tight end Ben Yurosek to take a 10-3 lead.

Alabama responded with another long drive, but once again the Georgia's defense refused to allow their endzone to be penetrated. With just seconds left on the clock, Kalen DeBoer chose to settle for a field goal from 22-yards away by Nicholson on a 4th-and-4 opportunity inside the 10-yard line.

DeBoer's decision was likely influenced by the notion that Alabama would be receiving the second half kickoff and needed to get points on board to take some momentum into the locker room.

3rd quarter:

Score:
Georgia 10, Alabama 6

The team's traded two punts each in the third quarter, with both defenses stifling and refusing to give an inch. Georgia stretched its no touchdowns allowed streak to 15 full quarters in 2024. An onlooking Nick Saban can't help but grin at the defensive masterclass being put on by his protoge, and by his former Crimson Tide players.

It's an old-school SEC rockfight through three quarters, but the fourth quarter brings a lot of fireworks as both offenses go for broke in an attempt to come away with a big early season victory.

4th Quarter:

Alabama, finally, breaks through into the endzone that Georgia guarded like a DUI checkpoint. Jalen Milroe, on a "tush push" that no doubt left former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts smiling, gives Alabama a 13-10 lead.

But the Bulldogs have championship grit, and they're led by a future NFL QB in Carson Beck. Calmly, despite the ravenous crowd at Saban Field screaming their lungs out, Beck leads a critical drive for Georgia culminating in a Trevor Etienne touchdown from one-yard out to give Georgia a 17-13 lead with just over three-minutes left on the clock.

A hushed silence has fallen over Bryant-Denny Stadium, but there's a quiet confidence on the Alabama sideline. A confidence that starts to emanate through the stands. Because Alabama has Georgia right where it wants them. The place Georgia has been so many times against Alabama in past meetings.

It's a perfect time to rip the Bulldogs' hearts out again. There was Georgia coming up a few yards short in 2012. There was 2nd and 26. There was Jalen Hurts' heroics. Now, there's Milroe to Prentice. A moment so beautiful Daniel Moore will have to paint it.

With the weight of the entire state on his shoulders, and all the doubters racing through his mind, Milroe leads Alabama on an epic drive down the field. With just 32-seconds left on the clock, Milroe delivers a strike toward the endzone from 24-yards away that finds the warm and inviting hands of junior WR Kobe Prentice.

Touchdown Alabama. Roll Tide.

Final Score:
Alabama 20, Georgia 17
