We've attacked Alabama Football's matchup against Wisconsin on Saturday in Madison from every human angle imaginable. Now, it's time to let the real experts take over and see what EA Sports' CFB 25 has to say for the Tide's contest with the Badgers.

Last week, we simmed Alabama's matchup with USF, and while the game was a little more bullish on the Tide than what we ultimately saw transpire on Saban Field, the final score wasn't too far off from reality.

This week, EA Sports sees a bit of a closer game for Alabama's first road trip of 2024. Like last week, we simmed the game one time and one time only. I didn't play a single play, instead utilizing the super sim function in exhibition mode.

Here are the results:

Final Score: Alabama 34, Wisconsin 20

Like in last week's sim, Alabama got off to a bit of a slow start and utilized a 31-yard punt return by Jaylen Mbakwe to set up the first score. Justice Haynes punched in a three-yard touchdown to draw first blood, and while Alabama's defense bent a little by giving up over 100-yards of offense, it refused to break and held the Badgers scoreless.

Wisconsin tied the game up in the 2nd quarter with a Tyler Van Dyke QB sneak to make it 7-7. Alabama got things rolling a bit on offense, however, with Jalen Milroe hitting Kendrick Law for a 36-yard touchdown pass and then Graham Nicholson nailed a 50-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give Alabam a 17-7 lead at halftime.

Alabama extended its lead to 24-7 in the third quarter on an 8-yard touchdown run by Jam Miller, and looked to be putting Wisconsin away. But the Badgers wouldn't quit as Luke Fickell's squad battled back in the fourth quarter.

Tyler Van Dyke hit Will Pauling for a 65-yard touchdown to cut the Tide lead to 10. After Graham Nicholson hit a 45-yard field goal to stretch the lead back to 13, Van Dyke found Vinny Anthony for a 23-yard touchdown that got Camp Randall on its feet.

With the pressure mounting and Alabama's lead sitting at just 27-20 (Wisconsin's kicker missed the extra point after Van Dyke's 2nd touchdown toss), the freshman sensation came through for the second week in a row. Ryan Williams took a Jalen Milroe pass 75-yards for a touchdown to put the game on ice.

Milroe was an efficient 12-of-16 passing for 216 yards and a couple of touchdowns with no turnovers. Jam Miller gained 70-yards on 14 carries, while Justice Haynes added 68 yards on 21 attempts. Williams led Alabama receivers with 4 catches for 113 yards. Law had a pair of catches for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Alabama was paced by safety DeVonta Smith, who led the team with 10 tackles, and defensive end Jeheim Oatis, who sacked Van Dyke twice. Jihaad Campbell added a sack to give the Tide three for the game, but Kane Wommack likely wouldn't be too happy with the defensive effort overall as Alabama gave up over 400 yards of offense and failed to force a turnover for a second game in a row.

While it was far from the dominant effort Alabama fans are hoping to see on Saturday in Madison, a two-touchdown road victory in a tough environment is nothing to sneeze it.
