Another week, another viral Nick Saban moment on College GameDay.
The former Alabama football coach continues to have fun in his new job, and the college football world continues to see the personality that led to so many No. 1 recruiting classes that powered the Crimson Tide dynasty.
Saban was wearing a red tie on this week's GameDay show, but the Cal fans gathered around the set weren't having it. You see, red is the color of the Bears' mortal enemy, the Stanford Cardinal.
Every time Saban spoke, Cal fans were chanting for Saban to take off the red tie. Saban held off through the show's first hour, but eventually the peer pressure became too much. Pat McAfee pointed out what the fans were saying, and Saban played up to the crowd by removing the tie and spinning it in his hand above his head to fire up the Cal faithful.
Saban took it a step further as McAfee handed him a blue and gold Cal colored tie, and the legendary coach was a good sport and put it on for the remainder of the show.
Saban has been a huge boost to the ratings of College GameDay and every week he does something that is must-see TV. His football acumen was obviously the biggest draw for the show, but his fun-loving side and willingness to play to the crowds has been more than anyone expected.
