What to expect from seven more regular season Alabama basketball games

Alabama Basketball begins a tough seven-game stretch on Saturday against Texas A&M. After the Aggies, the next five games are not only tough, but three of the five are on the road.

Arkansas (12-11, 3-7) at Alabama - Mar. 9

The Razorbacks may have lost all their enthusiasm for the season before reaching Tuscaloosa. Whether they have or not will only matter in the Crimson Tide's winning margin. If the other predictions hold, the Alabama Crimson Tide could clinch an SEC Regular Season Championship with a win over the Hogs. In that situation, there is no way an underachieving Arkansas team will upset the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. PREDICTION: Bama wins by 14 points.

These predictions make for a 5-2 finish to the Crimson Tide's regular season. The result could be a 4-3 finish instead, and at worst a disappointing 3-4 finish. A 4-3 finish might not be enough to win the SEC Regular Season Championship. But a 14-4 record should at least assure the Crimson Tide a Co-SEC Championship.

Alabama basketball fans have some concern that Ohio State (with a new head coaching vacancy) and Louisville with an expected one will pursue Nate Oats. It would make sense for both programs, but Oats is expected to remain in Tuscaloosa.
