Final Alabama Football Game-by-Game prediction for 2024 regular season
By Ronald Evans
Oct. 12 - South Carolina at Alabama
At 4-1, there is a chance the Crimson Tide will be looking ahead to Tennessee the following week. If so, the game could have a sluggish start. The final result will still be one-sided. The Gamecocks are not good enough to beat Alabama anywhere, especially not in Tuscaloosa. Game Six Prediction: Alabama 41 - South Carolina 17
Oct. 19 - Alabama at Tennessee
The Vols have a good chance to be no worse than 5-1 going into the Third Saturday. Neyland will be fever-pitched for a repeat of the 2022 season. Maybe new Tennessee QB, Nico Iamaleava will have quickly matured into one of the SEC's best. The game should be competitive, but I have little concern about an Alabama loss. There are two teams on the Crimson Tide's regular season schedule that I believe have offenses Kane Wommack's defense is well built to slow. One of them is Tennessee. There will not be a repeat of a passing attack Alabama is at a loss to defend. Game Seven Prediction: Alabama 45 - Tennessee 38 (and a double-digit Alabama win will be no surprise)
Oct. 26 - Missouri at Alabama
Five consecutive Saturdays of football might leave the Crimson Tide a tad weary. If Alabama is flat, it will not be from taking the Tigers too lightly. Missouri could have seven or eight wins before coming to Tuscaloosa. By late October, the new Crimson Tide offense should be flourishing. That spells defeat for a not top-tier Missouri defense. Game Eight Prediction: Alabama 41 - Missouri 24
