Final Alabama Football Game-by-Game prediction for 2024 regular season
By Ronald Evans
Nov. 9 - Alabama at LSU
I am not convinced the LSU defense will be good enough to become a Playoff team. The Bengal Tigers offense should be good, but not good enough to beat Alabama in a shootout. Tiger Stadium is a threatening environment, but history shows the hostile crowd is often not enough against the Crimson Tide. I think the historical norm repeats. Game Nine Prediction: Alabama 45 - LSU 38
Nov. 16 - Mercer at Alabama
A pick-the-score game for the Alabama football staff that will give many backups considerable snaps. I expect Ty Simpson will dazzle in this game, working some with the first unit and showcasing Alabama's deep offensive talent among second-unit and third-unit players. Game Ten Prediction: Alabama 52 - Mercer 7
Nov. 23 - Alabama vs. Oklahoma in Norman
Winning in Norman is never easy and I'm calling this the second loss for the Crimson Tide. I am not convinced the Sooners are better than LSU and perhaps not better than Tennessee, but it is so difficult for a team to be at a peak for every game of a regular season. I'm prepared for an upset by the Sooners. However, if LSU manages to beat Alabama in Baton Rouge, the Crimson Tide will not lose in Norman. Game Eleven Prediction: Oklahoma 27 - Alabama 24
Nov. 30 - The Iron Bowl in Bryant-Denny
There is no way this game is close. Auburn is the second of the teams in the regular season I believe Kane Wommack's offense is set up well to handle. Game Twelve Prediction: Alabama 41 - Auburn 17
That's it; 10-2 and maybe followed by a trip to Atlanta, but certainly followed by the CFB Playoffs. RTR!
