Five Alabama Football Players make the On3 Top 100 for 2024

The transfer portal is nearing it's completion as a majority of the Nation's top transfers have landed at their new schools allowing us to evaluate rosters heading into 2024. The Alabama Football team is once again heading into the season with a ton of talent and head coach Kalen DeBoer will have his best roster yet on paper. On3 named its top 100 players for the 2024 season with several players making the cut:

33. Jalen Milroe - Quarterback

The 2023 season was up and down year but, towards the end of the year Milroe looked like one of the better quarterbacks in the country. Working in Milroe's favor is the hiring of Kalen DeBoer as the Alabama offense upgrades in the play-calling department with the departure of Tommy Rees. After seeing what Kalen DeBoer did with Michael Penix, there's a strong possibility that Milroe takes a jump into becoming a Heisman Contender.

The dual-threat ability of Milroe was on full display in the game against LSU however, Tommy Rees was never able to scheme up the right gameplan incorporating designed quarterback runs fully. The biggest concern for Milroe will be his receiving core after losing Isaiah Bond, Jermaine Burton, and Amari Niblack but, there's enough talent in the room to fill the void.
