Getting ready for Week Zero and the Alabama Crimson Tide 2024 TV schedule

The long wait is over. This week college football fans get relief from the long slog of an offseason. The Alabama Crimson Tide does not begin play until Week 1. but there is football worth watching this week.

The highlight game in Week 0, will be played in Dublin, Ireland. The Fighting Irish will not be there but the Seminoles and the Yellow Jackets will be. It is not known if the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will ship a 'Ramblin' Wreck across the pond, but Tech will look to wreck FSU's Playoff prospects.

ESPN's broadcast of the game will begin at 11:00 AM CST. The Seminoles are a double-digit favorite, making the chance of an upset a longshot. Georgia Tech is expected to be an improved team from last season's 7-6 record.

There are three other FBS games during Week 0. All of them include Mountain West teams. At 3:00 PM CST on Saturday, Mew Mexico hosts Montana State. The game can be seen on FS1. At 7:00 PM CST, SMU will be at Nevada, with the TV coverage on the CBS Sports Network. SMU is a heavy favorite to win. Fans having a late-night appetite for college football can see Delaware State at Hawaii at 11:00 PM CST. The game will only be available from a couple of streaming platforms.

Alabama Crimson Tide fans might enjoy a game from the state of Alabama. North Alabama will play Southeast Missouri State at the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery. ESPN will carry the 6:00 PM CST game. The UNA Lions have only won 18 games since moving up to the DCS level in 2018.

• Week 12 - Nov. 16 - Mercer at Alabama; 1:00 PM CST - ESPN+, SEC Network (only 2024 game only available through a video stream)

Television decisions for the other six Alabama Crimson Tide regular season games will be announced during the season.
