How Alabama Football players fared at the 2024 Combine
Jase McClellan - Running Back
The Alabama Running back attended the NFL Combine however, he didn't do much to raise his draft stock. The only drill McClellan took part in was the bench press with 20 reps holding out of the running portion and the field drills. The biggest pre-draft event for McClellan will be at Alabama's pro day where he'll look to raise his draft stock.
Jaylen Key - Safety
The one-year starter for the Alabama Football team entered the combine with plenty of intrigue as he looked to move up draft boards. Key ran a 4.6 forty which won't blow many away while broad jumping 10 feet 10 inches, and vertical leaping 36.5 inches. Jaylen showed his abilities best in the on-field portion flashing his ability in drills. For Key, he'll look to run a faster time at Alabama's pro day which may result in him being a higher regarded prospect.
Alabama Football Pro-Day will be vital for many
For a few of the Alabama Football draft prospects, Pro-Day will be the most important showing for the prospects' draft stocks. Kool-Aid McKinstry was unable to participate due to a Jones fracture found in his foot meaning pro-day will be the only times interested teams get. Jase McClellan will need an impressive showing after mostly opting out of the NFL Combine. Jaylen Key will look to improve his 40-yard time in hopes to quiet doubts about his speed at the NFL level.
