Alabama Football has produced an impressive list of All-Americans in its illustrious history. Heading into a new college football landscape and year one of the Kalen DeBoer era, it will be fascinating to see how many 2024 All-Americans the Crimson Tide can produce.

Last season, junior linebacker Dallas Turner, junior cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, and redshirt sophomore cornerback Terrion Arnold were named first team All-Americans by the Associated Press. Junior offensive tackle JC Latham and freshman safety Caleb Downs made the second team, while graduate kicker Will Reichard was named a third-team AP All-American.

All six of these players have since departed, with Downs transferring to Ohio State and the other five becoming NFL Draft selections. Who will fill the void for Alabama heading into 2024?

Redshirt junior quarterback Jalen Milroe looks to build upon his 2023 season, which saw him finish sixth in the Heisman Trophy voting. Milroe is the most physically imposing quarterback in college football, and is often the best athlete on the field. In a more quarterback-friendly offense under Coach DeBoer, his potential could be limitless.

Tyler Booker returns to Alabama for his junior season, and will likely be a three-and-done NFL player after this year. He should be one of the best guards in college football and is a clear All-American candidate.

If Deontae Lawson can stay healthy, he has the ability to be the best inside linebacker Alabama has had in years. This should be a breakout season for the redshirt junior from Mobile, who is Bama’s leading returning tackler after logging 67 stops in just 11 games last year.
