In Alabama Football vs. Georgia the advantage in position group comparison goes to ...
It can be argued that Alabama Football and Georgia have the two most talented rosters in college football. How do the Tide and the Dawgs match up by position group?

- Cornerback - The Crimson Tide is not as vulnerable at cornerback as many expected. With a few troubling exceptions, the Tide's corners have played well, but they have not played against a passing QB who comes close to Carson Beck's accuracy. Georgia also has some experience weakness at corner but gets the edge because the Tide is unproven. Advantage - Georgia
Missing from the position group list are Safety, Inside Linebackers, Outside Linebackers, and Kickers. Georgia fans will strongly disagree, but my contention is both rosters are so loaded that neither team has an advantage. If that premise is wrong on Saturday night, it will be at Safety and Outside Linebacker with the Bulldogs performing better. Georgia's talent at safety is unquestioned. With the quick, emergence of Keon Sabb, plus the experience of Malachi Moore I'm calling Safety and the three other position groups a push.
Tallying the results, unsurprisingly, shows two equally matched rosters. Alabama Football holds an advantage in four position groups, with Georgia also at four, and four other position groups as a draw.
