The North Carolina Tar Heels have maybe the Nation's best guard tandem in RJ Davis and Cormac Ryan. RJ Davis ranks 13th in the Nation with 21.3 points per game just 0.2 points behind Mark Sears. Davis is one of the Nation's best three-point shooters shooting 41.1% from three which ranks 20th in the country and is now Carolina's leading single-season three-point shooter with 113 made threes on the year.

Cormac Ryan is an effective shooter in his own right as Alabama learned in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. Ryan scored 29 points shooting 10-13 from the field and 7-9 from three when Notre Dame knocked the Tide out of the NCAA Tournament. This season Ryan is scoring 11.3 points per game on 31% shooting from three.

Nate Oats even spoke on how much the Tide wanted Ryan out of the transfer portal:

"We tried to recruit him out of the portal. He is one of the best shooters. Shoot he is an old, extremely experienced player. Played a lot of minutes, big-time minutes at Notre Dame. He killed us in the NCAA Tournament."
