Most Alabama Football fans have a soft spot for the former Crimson Tide offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffin. Kiffin was Nick Saban's OC from 2014-2016 before taking the Florida Atlantic head coaching job and ultimately ending up at Ole Miss.

Even while coaching at an SEC rival, fans have cheered for Kiffin from afar. His fun, laid-back personality was almost the exact opposite of Saban's, and the Tide faithful have always been drawn to him.

Kiffin was a popular pick amongst Alabama fans to be the Saban replacement before the job ultimately went to Kalen DeBoer.

Kiffin joined College GameDay this morning to discuss Ole Miss' game against Kentucky later, but the conversation naturally moved toward Kiffin's relationship with Saban and ultimately the crew asking Kiffin for his prediction of tonight's game.

Obviously, Kiffin spent three years as Alabama's offensive coordinator, but he is also close with Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, spending the 2014 and 2015 seasons on staff in Tuscaloosa with Smart.

But Kiffin has always been a crowd pleaser in Tuscaloosa, and he delivered once again:

After speaking about how good Georgia has been, Kiffin scoffed and said "That's Alabama, and they're playing on Nick Saban Field tonight, man. So I gotta go Roll Tide."

Alabama fans already loved Kiffin, and this is just more fuel to that.

Georgia imitating Alabama. Georgia's imitation flattering, but Alabama is still Alabama. dark. Next
