Chances to lock down some recruitments this weekend

Coming to campus this weekend is Dawson Merritt a four-star recruit ranked as the 87th-ranked player in the class and the tenth-ranked linebacker in the class. The Crimson Tide are in a great spot for Merritt. His final two schools are the Crimson Tide and Nebraska. If the Alabama Football team lands Merritt he'll join a loaded recruiting class at linebacker with commitments from Duke Johnson, Jaedon Harmon, Abduall Sanders, Luke Metz, and Myles Johnson.

The Crimson Tide will also get one of its top interior offensive line targets back on campus as Pennsylvania native Micahel Carroll returns to Tuscaloosa. The Tide are seemingly in a three-team race for Carroll alongside Penn State and Michigan with both schools getting visits after Alabama. Carroll's father played at Penn State and with being from Pennsylvania the Nittany Lions may be hard to overcome but, thus far the Tide have wowed recruits on official visits. On3 ranks Carroll, as the 2nd best interior offensive lineman in the class and the 27th-ranked recruit overall.

Some ground to be gained in wide-open recruitments

The Tide will also get a visit from one of the Nation's top cornerbacks as Graceson Littleton returns to campus. Littleton ranks as the Nation's 12th-ranked cornerback and the 110th player overall in this recruiting class. Littleton has no set commitment date but, early on it looks like Alabama has an early edge thanks to Maurice Linguist and the relationship he has built.

The Tide have moved fast on four-star defensive back Rylon Dillard-Allen, offering him a scholarship on May 17th. Kalen DeBoer and his staff know Dillard-Allen from their time at Washington and the West Coast connections appear to be there still as Alabama was named as one of his top four schools on Monday alongside Washington, UCLA, and Texas A&M. Dillard-Allen ranks as the 23rd best safety in the class and the 265th best player overall.
