10. 2018 Sugar Bowl: No. 4 Alabama 24 No. 1 Clemson 6
The Clemson vs. Alabama rivalry gave us many of the most legendary moments of the College Football Playoff, just not in 2018. Jalen Hurts had not yet developed as a passer and Clemson had to bridge the gap from Deshaun Watson to Trevor Lawrence with Kelly Bryant who went 18/36 for 124 yards with two interceptions in this game.
Clemson gained just 188 total yards and Alabama only managed 261, but scored twice off back-to-back Bryant interceptions in the third quarter including a Mack Wilson 18-yard pick-six to extend the lead to 24-6 and put the game away.
