  • South Carolina Gamecocks - Shane Beamer was not hit hard by transfer departures. He lost three starters. All three are rated as transfer 3-stars.
  • Auburn Tigers - Hugh Freeze lost two starters to transfer. One was rated a 3-star and the other one was unrated as a transfer player. Sane Auburn fans may be disappointed the Tigers' weak roster did not have more starter exits.
  • Oklahoma Sooners - Brent Venables lost two starters. One was 4-star QB, Dillon Gabriel who transferred to Oregon. Oklahoma fans are confident Jackson Arnold means losing Gabriel was no problem. Arnold was a 5-star recruit in the 2023 class.
  • Ole Miss Rebels - Lane Kiffin lost one starter to transfer. It was a major loss for the Rebels when 4-star Quinshon Judkins left Oxford for Ohio State.
  • LSU Bengal Tigers - Brian Kelly also lost one transfer starter, 4-star running back Logan Diggs who transferred to Ole Miss.
  • Texas Longhorns - Steve Sarkisian's only key starter, transfer attrition was 4-star cornerback Terrance Brooks. Brooks has not joined a new team.

Cody Nagel reported that nearly 3,900 players entered the winter and spring Transfer Portal windows. The number grows every year.
