Only a second-rounder, there were questions about Diggs's risk-taking and lack of physicality ahead of the 2020 NFL draft and those concerns have played out in his NFL career. Diggs has been burned many times across his four years in the league, but he’s burned opposing quarterbacks even more.

In 2021, Diggs led the league with 11 interceptions and took two back for touchdowns. He emerged as the top playmaking cornerback in the entire NFL and was a first-team All-Pro. In 2022, Diggs regressed some, only taking the ball away three times, and in 2023, he missed all but two games with a knee injury.

Diggs has a chance to return as one of the top defensive playmakers in football, but even if he’s never the same player he was in 2021, Dallas got a steal in the second round, making Diggs the third-best draft pick of the Nick Saban era at Alabama.
